Like a high-energy Peter, Paul & Mary or a co-ed Crosby, Stills & Nash, with various parts of The Byrds, Joni Mitchell, the Eagles, and America – Gathering Time is a head-turning folk-rock harmony trio described as “getting a whole beehive-full of buzz” on the northeast regional folk scene. Gathering Time’s 2007 remake of Peter Yarrow’s “Light One Candle” aired on stations ranging from NYC’s top-rated WCBS-FM to Israel’s Galilee plains. The trio’s most recent CD, Keepsake, swept the Folk Chart in March 2016, coming in as the #1 album with the #1 single and five other songs in the top 25. The album features original songs by all three members – with elements of Celtic, old-time, and Americana – as well as covers of songs by Sandy Denny and Dan Fogelberg.   More ...
