Nominations for 2018 Sounding Board

Mental_Gears.jpgNominations are now open for positions on the 2019 Sounding Board. A nominating committee has begun work to determine who is willing, if elected, to continue serving in their current position, and to seek new persons who might want to serve on the Golden Link Sounding Board.

Elections will be held during the Annual Meeting, which is scheduled for Tuesday, December 12, 2017. We will begin with the Annual Meeting, then proceed to the evening's sing-around.

If you are aware of a person who has indicated that they would be interested in serving, please click to contact our Festival Director, Betty Smits or our President, Val Fowler.

if you--yourself--would be interested in serving (yes, self-nominations are welcome and will be seriously considered!!), please contact Betty or Val.

The main qualifications for service are a passion for helping Golden Link Folksinging Society to be the strongest that it can be, a willingness to serve collaboratively with others, and a heart for what we do to promote and encourage folk music. The Nominating Committee will consider all potential nominees, and will make their report to the Annual Meeting.

We encourage your responses to this invitation, and we encourage you to be present on December 12 for the annual meeting and election.
