How We're addressing COVID-19

With the emergence and spread of COVID-19 in the U.S., we all need to make adjustments in our actions and expectations and plan accordingly. As fellow music-lovers, we want you to know that your well-being is very important to us and we are working on ways to address this situation for upcoming Golden Link events.
As far as Friday’s concert with Dana and Susan Robinson, the concert is still on as of right now.
We have checked with our venue, the Rochester Christian Reformed Church, and they are doing routine cleaning in the building. Golden Link will do additional cleaning and sanitizing before the concert. We will also be making some changes at the concert – such as limiting the refreshment table to packaged snacks instead of the usual homemade goodies – and will have hand sanitizer available at the front gate.
We ask that you help us by following the protocols as outlined by the CDC of regularly washing hands for at least 20 seconds, covering your cough or sneeze with your elbow or a tissue, and avoiding touching your eyes, nose, and mouth. Please refrain from attending the concert if:

You have any flu-like symptoms, including fever, cough, or difficulty breathing. For your well-being and the well-being of others, if you’re sick please stay home and take care of yourself.

You have health issues that weaken your immune system and make you more susceptible to the virus.

You returned from travel in the last 3 weeks to an area with sustained local transmission.

You have had close physical contact with a person currently under investigation for COVID-19, or who is a confirmed case of COVID-19.
In this time of stress and anxiety, we are hopeful that a pleasant evening of music will be healing for those attending the concert. But if this is not the right time for you to attend, we understand.
If there are any changes to this plan, we will keep you posted via email, on our website, and on social media.
