She has traveled to more than 70 countries, picking up grooves and stories along the way; jumping box cars, riding on freight boats, and even playing music with an elephant orchestra in Thailand. She has released eight albums of original material; toured with Judy Collins, the Indigo Girls, Richie Havens, and Nanci Griffiths; and even opened for Pat Benetar on the ukulele! Named New Folk Winner at the Kerrville Folk Festival in Texas and Audience Favorite at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, Lewis is originally from England but now resides in Provincetown on Cape Cod.
