Judi Salsburg Taylor, teacher and long-time drummer/percussionist, will present a percussion workshop with a variety of rhythms to fit many styles and songs. This is a chance to try different folk percussion instruments, practice techniques with them, and learn how to “listen” for rhythm parts. You may bring instruments of your own, as well as a favorite song to accompany with a fitting rhythm. Egg shakers, drums, tambourines, wood blocks, spoons, etc. are welcome.
After the workshop, attend the second half of the usual Tuesday evening sing-around with the opportunity to practice some of your newfound technique!
