We’ve all sat around a campfire, strummed a few chords, and sung along with our friends. Now, learn how to arrange your songs in ways that add interest and use dynamics to build emotion. Whether you’re an individual with a guitar, or a group with multiple instruments and vocals, arranging your songs thoughtfully will take you beyond the campfire stage, give them a more professional appeal, add impact, and captivate your listeners.
Dan and Maureen Kuchta, and Linda Becker, of Dusty Road will be passing on techniques that have worked for them as they’ve played for audiences in the Rochester area. Do you have a song you love but just can’t get it to sound the way you’d like? Join them for this workshop; you may bring an instrument and a song you want to work on.
After the workshop, attend the second half of the usual Tuesday evening sing-around with the opportunity to practice some of your newfound technique!
Note: This workshop has been cancelled due to insufficient registrations.
